Carlsbad High School 2011 Home Run Derby & Alumni Game

Sunday February 13th

The Home Run Derby is open to all skill levels with gold, silver and bronze tee shirts awarded for first through third place in each division. The entry fee is $20 which includes 10 outs, a commerative tee shirt, a hot dog or donut and a drink, and a raffle ticket.

8U - 8:00 am - 90' Fence

10U - 8:30 am - 130' Fence

12U - 9:00 am - 175' Fence

14U - 9:30 am - 225' Fence

16U - 10:00 am - 275' Fence

18U - 10:30 am - 300' Fence

Alumni Game @ 1:00 - The CHS Winter Varsity Team will take on an Alumni Team. If you’re alumni and want to participate, contact Coach Greene at chsathletics@hotmail.com or Dave Eshelman at info@lancerbaseball.org.

All proceeds go to the Carlsbad Baseball Boosters and will be used to help achieve their mission of enhancing the environment of Carlsbad High School Baseball with emphasis on community, education, sportsmanship and fun!

Make-up evaluations most likely will not be held. If you are unable to make the time assigned for your son’s division please contact the division director directly and we will make alternative plans for you.

Your son may show up at anytime during the assigned slot. The entire process runs pretty quickly and he doesn’t need to stay once he has gone though the two stations.

LCYO will be providing FREE baseball clinics, taught by some of the leading instructors in the area from Big Fly, Primetime, and Jeb Dougherty Baseball. All clinics will be at the same field where the evaluations are being held.

Jan.8^th, Pinto - Baseball Fundamentals 10-11am, 1-2pm, and 3-4pm

Jan. 8^th, Bronco – Fundamentals/Hitting 11am-Noon, Pitching Noon -1pm
